Privacy Policy

Your personal information belongs to you — like your energy. Here, in plain language, is what we collect, why, and your rights.

Last updated: July 15, 2026

1. Who we are

This policy applies to solairegie.com, operated by Solairegie (NEQ 1149341654), whose head office is located at 1505, rue Jean-Lachaine, Sainte-Catherine (QC) J5C 1C2. It describes our personal information practices, in accordance with Quebec's Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information (“Law 25”).

2. The information we collect

  • What you provide us through our forms: first name, last name, phone, email, city — and any information you choose to share about your project.
  • The context of your request: campaign source parameters (UTM) when you arrive from an advertisement, so we know which message reached you.

We collect no sensitive information, and we never ask for your Hydro-Québec account number, SIN or banking information on this site.

3. Why we collect it

  • To call you back and respond to your request;
  • To prepare a personalized estimate for your solar project;
  • To follow up on your file if you become a client;
  • To measure the effectiveness of our communications, in aggregate.

We never sell or rent your personal information. Period.

4. Your consent

Our forms require explicit consent (a checkbox) before anything is sent. You may withdraw this consent at any time by writing to us at info@solairegie.com — we will then stop contacting you and delete your information, subject to our legal obligations.

5. Where your information goes

Your information is stored in secure cloud systems used to operate the site and manage client relationships (site hosting and database). These providers act as technical service providers and do not use your data for their own purposes. Access is limited to team members who need it to process your request, with authentication.

6. How long we keep it

As long as necessary for the purposes described above: the duration of your request, of the client relationship where applicable, then the retention periods required by law. Beyond that, information is deleted or anonymized.

7. Your rights

  • Access the information we hold about you;
  • Have it corrected if inaccurate;
  • Withdraw your consent and request its deletion;
  • File a complaint with Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information (CAI) if you believe your rights have not been respected.

8. Personal information protection officer
